Digital Copiers
Digital Equipment Corporation was an American pioneering company in the
computer industry. It is often referred to within the computing industry as
DEC. (This acronym was once officially used by Digital itself, but the
official name was always DIGITAL.) It’s PDP and VAX products were arguably the
most popular mini-computers for the scientific and engineering communities
during the 70s and 80s. Digital Equipment Corporation was acquired by Compaq,
which subsequently merged with Hewlett-Packard. As of 2006 its product lines
were still produced under the HP name. From 1957 until 1992 its headquarters
were in an old woolen mill in Maynard, Massachusetts.
Digital copiers are now made under the Hp Brand. We carry toners
for over 13 models of Digital Copiers. We also carry Ribbon for 19, hard to
find, Digital Ribbon Printers. We do not have pages dedicated to the ribbons,
so the only way to find them is to use our ink and toner finder on the home
page. Simply put in the cartridge number (such as la30r-ka), and that ribbon
will magically appear on your page. From there you can purchase it with one or
two easy steps, and order all you want. Remember, the postage cost per item
goes down the more you purchase The other brands of toners that work with the
Digital Copiers are Genicom, Xerox, and our own Compatibles that are 100%
guaranteed to work as well if not better than the original toners made by
Digital for their copiers.
While the name digital is used for various other digital copiers
and cameras, made by just about any other company, these copiers are made by
the one and only Digital copier people at Digital equipment Corporation in
Maynard Massachusetts. These Digital copiers or laser printers or inkjet
printers and ribbon printers are not available on this web site, but the
toners, maintenance kits, photoreceptors and OPC kits are available.
